Slade On The Big Screen

Looking at Barry Plummer's photo, it would appear that the fans got a close up view of the band courtesy of a huge live projection screen.

This feature was used at Wembley, and Earls Court, but it was not a new idea.
On September 7th. 1972, in London's Mile End, the opening night of The Sundown club, they used a large screen fed by a closed circuit camera system (I believe)
